The class \u2013 led by Cindy Dent, director of operations at Guardian NWFL \u2013 provided key training and required employees to pass a technique test and finger check to ensure proper hand washing.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to this course, Guardian NWFL also recently completed a room upgrade to comply with the most recent USP 797 regulations on sterile compounding.\u00a0 The room has been certified by a third party vendor and approved by the Florida Board of Pharmacy.\u00a0 Our sterile room is certified as a Class 5, allowing us to compound all IV antibiotic therapies and hydrations.<\/p>\n<p>To best serve our multiple skilled nursing facilities throughout the Florida panhandle, it is imperative that our staff have up-to-date knowledge on the proper methods for providing infusion therapy to residents.
