From treasured beaches to hidden springs and national forests, Florida has many natural wonders for which we are thankful. However, there is one aspect of nature, occurring from June through November, for which Floridians are not so grateful: hurricane Season.<\/p>\n

Nursing homes and assisted living communities focus on emergency preparedness year-round, as does Guardian Pharmacy of Jacksonville. With periodic reviews of our emergency plans and detailed hurricane procedures, we stand ready for our communities and residents. In 2019, we installed a new backup generator to ensure continued operations in the event of a power loss. Our IT emergency operating plan includes redundancy and remote login functionality. This valued benefit allows for seamless pharmacy service from Jacksonville or any of Guardian Pharmacy\u2019s 36 locations.<\/p>\n

While our efforts may be put to the ultimate test during a hurricane, Guardian customers can rest assured that their pharmacy services are covered.<\/p>\n
