The new state-of-the-art building allows the long-term care (LTC) pharmacy to increase its workforce and operations to better serve residents in assisted living, skilled nursing, independent living; and individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities all across Texas.<\/p>\n<p>The pharmacy, which joined Guardian in 2019, anticipates more client growth and plans to hire additional employees.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs we look to expand our operations to better serve our customers and keep pace with growing demand, we felt the timing was right to upgrade our facility,\u201d said Kyle Simmons, Pharm.D., co-president of Guardian Pharmacy of Dallas-Fort Worth. \u201cThe additional space and improved office layout and design offers our team members a more comfortable work environment and enhances operational efficiency that enables our staff to help our customers deliver the highest quality of care to residents.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The facility will also house the latest technology, an USP &lt;800&gt; compliant cleanroom, and a training center that provides in-service and nursing instruction courses for pharmacy employees, as well as community staff members.<\/p>\n<p>Guardian Pharmacy of Dallas-Fort Worth is a member of Guardian Pharmacy Services, one of the nation\u2019s largest LTC pharmacy companies, which has 39 locations serving 27 states.
