The Missouri Assisted Living Association (MALA) Fall Conference was held at Margaritaville Lake Resort in Osage Beach, MO earlier this month. The event featured 37 exhibitors and hosted nearly 100 attendees from all over Missouri.
Guardian Pharmacy of Missouri, a Platinum Sponsor of the conference, was well represented by our customer success team, Angel Mayberry and Laura Becker.
The conference also served as an educational platform with informative break-out sessions covering a host of industry-related topics. A few of the educational sessions included:
- Cross Training for a Safe Environment/Infection Control by Erika Kramer
- Understanding Unemployment Claims by William Dixon
- Building Design to Age in Place by Rich Conyers
We were proud to have our very own Lori Morgan, Rph, as a featured presenter on Monday, October 12. Lori, who is one of our clinical consultant pharmacists in Springfield, led a session about reducing risks for respiratory infections with a focus on immunizations.
Although attendee numbers were slightly down due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the MALA Fall Conference was a success overall. We would like to thank all visitors who stopped by our booth and we applaud our dedicated staff members who worked hard ensuring Guardian Pharmacy of Missouri’s presence was felt by all.
