In August, the Missouri Health Care Association (MHCA) hosted its 73rd Annual Convention & Trade Show at the Branson Convention Center in Branson, Missouri. Guardian Pharmacy of Missouri, a Platinum Sponsor of the conference, was well represented by our leadership team and sales/marketing team.
The convention provided our team with the opportunity to connect with our industry peers and others who share our passion for improving long-term care. The convention lasted four days and featured a variety of seminars, meetings, exhibits and networking opportunities.
We were especially proud to have our very own Bethany Bramwell, Rph, BCGP, as a featured presenter at the convention. Bethany, one of our clinical consultant pharmacists in Springfield, led a session titled “Medication Safety in Transitions of Care.” Bethany gave a wonderful presentation on the best strategies and practices to reduce risks associated with transitions to and from skilled nursing communities.
Although attendee numbers were slightly down due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Guardian Pharmacy of Missouri greatly enjoyed attending the MHCA Annual Convention & Trade Show. We applaud our dedicated staff members who worked hard to ensure that Guardian Pharmacy of Missouri’s presence was felt by all. We look forward to attending the conference again in 2022!
