As another year ends here at Guardian Pharmacy of the Heartland, we look back and reflect on the phenomenal growth we have experienced and are proud to share our team’s achievements.
Reaching our goals and fulfilling our mission would not be possible without our incredible team of pharmacy professionals. And wow, has our team grown this year! We are proud to have welcomed 20 new employees into the Guardian Heartland family. Across our three pharmacies in St. Louis, Springfield, Missouri, and Lenexa, Kansas, we’ve grown the number of residents we serve by more than 32% and the number of communities we serve by nearly 35%! As we’ve grown, our bigger workforce has helped us maintain the high-quality care our customers have come to expect from Guardian.
We are blessed with a hard-working team, but we also work alongside the best healthcare staff in the industry—the employees of our partner communities. They inspire us by providing amazing care to each of their residents, every day.
Throughout the year, we have kept our commitment to help our partner communities grow their care force. So far this year, we have helped nearly 400 community employees receive a skill-enhancing certification, including certifying 152 new Level 1 Medication Aides (L1MAs) and issuing 88 Insulin Certifications and 121 CPR cards.
We are looking forward to what 2023 has in store for us and to continuing to deliver excellent service to our partner communities throughout the Heartland.
