Guardian Pharmacy Services Shares Insights at Senior Innovation Summit

Eric Cheung, Business Intelligence Solutions Architect at Guardian Pharmacy Services, represented the company at the Senior Innovation Summit in New York City this June, joining a panel of industry leaders for a discussion titled: “From Chaos to Clarity: Managing Your Data and Creating Impactful Dashboards to Achieve Excellence.”
During the session, Eric shared how Guardian is designing systems that work seamlessly for frontline teams—making data clear, timely, and actionable. At the heart of the discussion was a shared belief: technology should enable smarter decisions, not create more noise.
“Data is only powerful when it’s actionable,” Eric explained. “That’s how we shift from reacting to leading.”
One area of particular focus was falls prevention, a top concern across senior care communities. While many organizations are exploring monitoring technologies, Eric emphasized the need to move beyond tracking and toward proactive, data-informed care.
Earlier this year, Eric also attended an AgeTech workshop exploring how operators can use data to guide smarter technology investments in senior living settings.
Eric joined Guardian in 2021 and holds degrees in biology from Emory University and biomedical engineering from Georgia Tech. His work continues to focus on creating practical, scalable solutions that advance value-based care across the communities Guardian serves.
Guardian’s GuardianShield® suite of services reflects this commitment—leveraging clinical insights, pharmacy analytics, and technology to help communities reduce risk and improve outcomes.
