
Chad oversees treasury/cash management, tax compliance, real estate and procurement for the company. Prior to joining Guardian in 2005, Chad spent 8+ years in progressive management roles in public accounting for Ernst & Young. He earned his B.S., B.A., M.S. in Accountancy from Auburn University.

Vicki joined Guardian in May 2005, but has worked with the Guardian executive team since 1999. Vicki is a graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill, where she earned a BA in Industrial Relations. Prior to joining this team in 1999, Vicki worked in HR operations for Perdue Farms in Robersonville, NC. Working with the entire HR team, Vicki has helped build and now leads a support group of highly skilled and customer-focused HR professionals.

A valued member of Guardian for nearly 18 years, Philip previously provided exceptional leadership and inspiration to the Birmingham team throughout his tenure. Philip holds a BE in Electrical engineering from Vanderbilt University.

As head of the business intelligence team, Mick brings 25+ years of progressive management experience in accounting and business intelligence and has been with Guardian since 2008. He is deeply passionate about finding creative ways to use data to solve real world problems. Mick earned his B.S. in Accounting from Appalachian State University and his M.S. in Business Intelligence & Analytics from Boston University.

Chad joined Guardian in 2019 and serves as Vice President, Controller, where he leads the company’s accounting operations, SEC financial reporting, and corporate tax functions, and oversees external audit services. Chad holds both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting from the University of Georgia. Prior to joining Guardian, he spent the majority of his career with Fortune 500 companies, supporting accounting and finance initiatives across domestic and international markets.

Chris joined Guardian in May 2012. As Vice President, Purchasing & Business Analytics for Guardian, Chris leverages his analytical background to lead the company’s strategic supply chain initiatives. In his role, Chris is responsible for identifying and executing cost reduction and process improvement opportunities for purchasing and strategic sourcing and developing customer pricing strategies. Chris is a graduate of Appalachian State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management.

Jared leads Guardian’s cross-functional efforts to advance growth through new pharmacy partnerships, contiguous expansions, and strategic transactions. He joined Guardian in May 2017 and brings more than 14 years of legal, M&A, and strategic advisory experience, collaborating closely with Presidents, local pharmacy teams, and Support Services colleagues to drive enterprise growth initiatives. Jared earned his B.A. from Binghamton University and his J.D. from the University of Florida Levin College of Law.

Bethany is a board-certified geriatric pharmacist and seasoned professional with extensive experience in long-term care pharmacy. She graduated from Southwestern Oklahoma State University School of Pharmacy in 1999 and is an active member of the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists. In her role as Senior Director of Marketing, she establishes and drives the strategic vision for Guardian’s growth marketing, communications and public relations initiatives.

Barri oversees talent acquisition and has helped build a team of highly skilled talent acquisition specialists focused on supporting our pharmacies’ growth initiatives. Barri graduated from Capella University, where she earned her BA in Sales & Marketing. She spent 9+ years in long-term care sales before transitioning to recruiting. Barri joined Guardian in 2007 as the Senior Director of Talent Acquisition for Guardian where she is able to leverage her knowledge of the industry, challenging talent landscape and a vast network.

Jaleynne is a seasoned HR professional with a passion for leadership and organizational growth. Since 2016, she has been an integral member of the Guardian support team, excelling in progressive roles within the HR department. She holds a BBA in marketing from the University of West Georgia and leverages her project management skills to drive innovative solutions for the organization. Her commitment to excellence has led her to her current role as the Senior Director of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), where she continues to make a significant impact on Guardian’s success.
