Fred Burke, Guardian Pharmacy President and CEO, was invited to participate in a panel of industry-leaders discussing long term care (LTC) metrics and profitability at Managed Health Care Associates’ (MHA) annual Business Summit in Las Vegas, NV. Fred shared Guardian’s insight into the industry’s reimbursement challenges and our collective need to maximize operational efficiency in order for LTC pharmacy experts to provide higher levels of service to our customers.

In total, more than 940 pharmacy professionals from MHA member pharmacies nationwide were in attendance, providing an opportunity for LTC pharmacy leaders to network with fellow entrepreneurs and meet with strategic vendors. Guardian Pharmacies were well represented with 90 senior leaders from each of Guardian’s 21 Pharmacies. General session of the Business Summit showcased subject matter experts who provided perspective on the state of the industry, market trends, innovations in technology and the effects of pending legislation regarding Long Term Care pharmacy.
