Guardian Pharmacy Services Expands Regional Footprint with New Columbus Pharmacy
Guardian Pharmacy Services has expanded in the Midwest with the opening of a new pharmacy in Columbus, Ohio, through its partner Mullaney’s Pharmacy.
Operating as Guardian Pharmacy of Ohio, the new location enhances Guardian’s ability to serve long-term care communities across Ohio, northern and central Kentucky, and western West Virginia. The expansion builds on Mullaney’s strong growth since joining Guardian in 2020, tripling its resident base in under five years.
“As a third-generation pharmacist leading the business my grandfather founded, I’ve seen firsthand how LTC pharmacies can make a difference in the lives of the residents and communities we serve,” said Tom Mullaney, RPh, president and chief director of operations of Mullaney’s Pharmacy and Guardian Pharmacy of Ohio.
The 5,600-square-foot Columbus facility will house state-of-the-art technology and automation, as well as a training center to provide in-service and clinical instruction courses for community staff and pharmacy employees.
