Andrea Silas Named President of Guardian Pharmacy of Birmingham
Guardian Pharmacy Services announced Andrea Silas as president of Guardian Pharmacy of Birmingham. She will oversee day-to-day operations, customer relationships, and strategic growth for the pharmacy.
Silas succeeds Philip Boyd, who has transitioned to vice president of technology solutions and services at Guardian Pharmacy Services.
Silas joined Guardian Pharmacy of Birmingham in 2022 as director of account management, bringing extensive frontline and leadership experience as a nurse and senior living executive. In this role, she helped the pharmacy successfully reduce nursing workloads, streamline workflows, and improve operational efficiency.
Founded in 2005, Guardian Pharmacy of Birmingham provides specialized LTC pharmacy services to senior living and skilled nursing communities, as well as providers who serve individuals with mental and behavioral health disorders and intellectual and developmental disabilities across Alabama.
